What can I do about counterfeit coins I bought?

I recently bought some counterfeit coins through an online intermediary. They were fakes. I purchased them thinking they were real, and was never told to the contrary. What legal action can I now take?

what should i sell these coins for?

I have about 15 wheat pennies ranging in date from 1920 to 1955, I have a 1942 walking liberty half dollar, a 1943 washington quarter, a canadian centennial penny (dated 1867-1967), and a 1937 buffalo nickel (not a 3 legger, though). Is it legal for coin dealers to sell counterfeit coins. but label them as counterfeits on the holders?

When I was younger (around 10), I bought a bunch of old coins from a coin store. On one occasion, I bought a counterfeit walking liberty coin. On the holder that I bought it in, it says “Counterfeit W.L. Half- 1943″. It cost 5 dollars. Is that legal to do?

How do I clean off this coin?

When cleaning out our basement I found some coin (I think its british based on the coat of arms thing) thats really dirty. Its probably nickel plated. What kind of acid/cleaning solution should i soak it in to clean off all the crap off of it without damaging the coin? And whats a good solution for doing the same with a canadian dollar (bronze plated)?
