With Halloween fast approaching comes a warning to parents and kids regarding
SHERWOOD BRAND PIRATE’S GOLD M ILK CHOCOLATE COINS imported from China
he Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning
the public not to eat, distribute or sell the candy.
It is sold across Canada by COSTCO
and may also have been sold in
bulk packages or as individual pieces at
VARIOUS DOLLAR AND BULK STORES.
The chocolate containsMELAMINE which is the same
chemical responsible for killing several babies in China , and
sickening thousands more.

While it is a good idea to warn folks about product tampering, a little caution can easily be turned into panic. According to the FDA, if you’ve eaten something with melamine, you should be fine. These kinds of warnings apply mostly where the sole foodsource is contaminated, such as baby formula or pet food. People who eat a normal diet will have a significantly lowered risk of melamine poisoning than those who only eat the contaminated product.

it is important to you because you have two kid of you own so i will pass it on to some kids and some parents who hs kids
This is scary. Trick or Treat started getting that way when my son (now 32) was little. I stopped taking him out and instead we held parties. The parents and kids we knew came dressed up and each group brought treats for the kids. We made games going from "haunted" room to room to collect their treats.

I think at halloween we should take nothing for granted.ALL candy should be carefully checked before your child eats it , regardless of where it comes from. Have a safe and happy halloween. EDIT Thank you to dougeebear for giving perspective to this question.
