American Nickle Coins?
Hi, I’m a Canadian coin collector and I’m wondering if anyone could tell me if the nickle I have is a misprint. It has a picture of george washington on it aswell as a picture of a bison on the opposite side. It is a 2005 coin. The thing I’m wondering is whether the face of Washington and the bison are supposed to be align or not? For example when I have Washington’s head properly align and flip the coin over the bison is upside down. The coins im used to are always lined up on both sides. appreciate the help!

Well, the American nickel has a picture of Thomas Jefferson on it. In 2005 there were two specialty nickels released, one with a buffalo on the back, the other with a scene of the Pacific Ocean. If you flip them over (top to bottom) the images well be right-side up on both sides. But if you flip them side-to-side, one side will be upside down. So no, they are not alligned on both sides. And your nickel is not a misprint. Hope that clears it up for you!
Buffalo nickles haven’t been in circulation since the 40′s. You are either (A) in the possession of a serious screw-up, (B) high on something, or (C) pulling our chain. I am going with option(s) B and C!
See my answer on the first time you asked this question. It will explain things. Have fun collecting.
