I need help with a puzzle!?
The title of the puzzle is : name that celebrity. the image shows two music notes (a bass clef and 4 chords). when i roll my mouse over them it says: first and last. around the music notes are various canadian coins. any ideas??!?!

Without seeing this - it is very difficult to answer. Treat these as "guesses". They could be way off the mark.
1. Johnny Cash.
The musical symbols indicate which sphere the celebrity is in. (music). The coins = CASH.
2. George Clooney
The music symbols indicate a "C" possibly - depending on which chord is indicated. The "familiar" name for a Canadian coin is a Loony, (as there is a loon bird on the reverse). "C" loony gives us George Clooney.
It really comes down to what exactly the musical notes indicate.
