- How much money is this coin worth? Okay, my grandma collects coins. She gave one to me, and its a 1921 Canadian penny. How much do you think its worth? Cause i have no idea…Please help....

First, go to this site:
http://www.pcfleet.com/Coinclub/Canada/Grade4-en.htm
and compare your coin to the coins shown, and choose the grade that you would give the coin. Don’t choose a higher grade than it deserves, otherwise you might expect more for the coin than you can get.
Second, go to this site:
http://www.pcfleet.com/Coinclub/Canada/Can_10cents_1.htm
and scroll down to the year 1918 and see how much your coin is worth based on the grades (grades are by column).
Hope this helps.
The value of the silver alone is about a dollar. Depending on how much wear it shows, it’s worth more than silver value. An example that is fairly worn, with date and all lettering fully readable is worth $3-$5. Showing little wear (facial details and crown details will be very sharp) goes up from $5.
