What's the big deal about cash bars?
Everyone on here seems to be SO AGAINST them. I have never been to a wedding that didn’t have a cash bar, the closest I ever got was a toonie bar (a toonie is a canadian coin if you dont’ know). I guess cash bars are the most common thing in my city and I am having one at my wedding. I’m just wondering why people are so against it… Continue reading

What is the value of an incorrectly minted 1975 Canadian 5 cent coin?
I received a 5 cent 1975 Canadian coin as change. The coin has a minting flaw, such that the obverse and reverse are not properly aligned (the reverse is crooked by about 15 degrees). The reverse side also has a much higher-than-normal relief, suggesting an unintentional, high-pressure strike. Is this a known or rare flaw, and what are the auction and street values of the coin?… Continue reading
