Value of a few coins i have found?
I have found a few coins over the past few months and i think some of them maybe worth more than they are.here is what i found:
1951 canadian penny
1961 silver quarter
and
arkansas quarter that is larger than an average quarter, it looks like a partial miss print
anyone have any clue how much these maybe worth?

- 1961 Canadian Silver Dollar What is the value of a 1961 canadian silver dollar. I have 3 in my collection....

The Canadian cent, unless it has almost no wear on it, is going to be worth just face value.
The quarter is worth about $4.50 for the silver value, unless it has absolutely no wear on it at all, in which case it might bring you 6 or 7 bucks if it’s really nice.
Without seeing the Arkansas quarter, it’s hard to tell exactly what it is, and what it’s worth. If it’s not perfectly round, it might have been stuck slightly "off-center". While they can be spectacular to look at, they’re also relatively common.
For the person who asked about the 1881 cent, unfortunately it is one of the more common Indian Head cents, and usually worth between $2 and $10 depending on condition.
As always, don’t ever try to clean a coin. Collectors hate cleaned coins, and it ruins their value.
Antique shops are usually a bad place to find out what a coin is worth. They don’t have the knowledge to be able to determine how much something like this is really worth, so they tend to be pretty conservative with what they’ll pay. If you’ve got a coin dealer nearby, that would be a better place to go.
I’m not completely sure how much they would be worth, but I have a penny from 1881 and I have no idea how much that would even be worth. I’m guessing it wouldn’t be too much because they are not extremely old, but take them to an antique shop and they should tell you.
